CEWHIN Training For Stakeholders in Ogun Enhancing Sexual Violence Prevention and Response for Women With Disability in Ogun State

The Centre for Women’s Health and Information (CEWHIN) with support from African Women’s Development Fund (AWDF) hosted an impactful workshop on May 8, 2025. The workshop, facilitated by Atinuke Odukoya and Mojisola Akinsanyo of WOPEGEE, focused on strengthening sexual violence prevention and response for women with disabilities in Ogun State.

Participants engaged in dynamic group work session that spotlighted the unique challenges faced by People With Disabilities (PWDs) and collaboratively crafted practical solutions to address these issues.

The workshop also included a comprehensive SWOT analysis of diverse stakeholders in attendance, identifying strengths to leverage, weaknesses to improve, opportunities to seize, and threats to mitigate. This strategic approach aims to enhance collaboration and effectiveness in supporting women with disabilities.

Our aim is to build a safer and more inclusive Ogun State where every woman’s rights and dignity is upheld.
