The Osun State Technical Action and Sustainability Plan serves as a blueprint for responding and preventing violence against women and girls with disabilities in Osun State. Developed through a Stakeholders Forum in Osogbo, this plan brings together government ministries, security agencies, PWD groups, and civil society to forge a unified front against violence perpetrated toward women and girls with disabilities.
This technical action plan highlights:
- A comprehensive SWOT-based approach to uncover strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in tackling SGBV among disability population;
- Plans to activate existing legislation and policies, ensuring enforcement supports those most at risk;
- Intentional use of media and community outreach to amplify awareness;
- Strengthening referral networks and multisector responses to improve access to services;
- Measures for sustainability ensuring the systems built continue to thrive beyond CEWHIN’s direct involvement.
