CEWHIN Annual Report 2022

Our Annual report for 2022 provides a comprehensive overview of our activities, donor funded projects, collaborations, achievements, and financial performance during the past year. We hope you will find it informative and inspiring, and that it gives you a deeper understanding of the impact of our work.

On behalf of our board of directors and staff, we are delighted to present CEWHIN’s Annual Report for 2022. The past year has been one of great challenges, but also of remarkable resilience and accomplishment.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, partners, and volunteers, we have been able to launch GBV Tête-À-Tête – CEWHIN’s First technology product. We hope that the development of this mobile app will help to increase access to Psychological support for survivors of all forms of violence against women and girls!

In the past few years, we have focused on the provision of psychosocial support as it is a major need for survivors. We observed that due to the low number of mental health specialists and emotional support services in the country, there has been an immense gap in the psychosocial needs of survivors who have gone through trauma. Funding shortages in itself also serve as a major hinderance to the delivery of these services.

CEWHIN in its plans and programmes has continued to build capacity of relevant stakeholders to improve access to basic emotional support services and this we have done through training psychological first-aiders (PFAs).

We are grateful for the support we have received and look forward to building on our successes in the coming year.
